Tanah Gajah Presents Exclusive Coffee and Matcha Experience

A unique partnership between Tanah Gajah and Kurasu offers a delightful pop-up coffee and matcha event celebrating cultural craftsmanship in Bali.

Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana, has formed a partnership with Kurasu, a prestigious coffee brand from Kyoto, to introduce a distinctive coffee and matcha pop-up event in the lush highlands of Bali. This pop-up, available until May 8, 2026, celebrates the artistry and mindfulness shared between these two cultures.

The event showcases Kurasu’s signature Natsu Ake Blend, a medium roast comprised of beans sourced from Ethiopia, Guatemala, Burundi, and Kenya, renowned for its floral notes and intricate flavors. Attendees can indulge in a selection of hand-drip brews alongside a rotating ‘coffee of the day’. For matcha aficionados, artisanal delights such as the Matcha Kinako and Coconut Matcha Cloud are on offer.

Situated in historical environments like the Panen Padi Lounge and Yoga Pavilions, the pop-up creates a tranquil setting for guests to enjoy a five-course tea omakase experience, featuring blends such as Hikari Sencha and Ceremonial Matcha Latte while surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of Tanah Gajah.

This collaboration not only emphasizes cultural exchange but also honors the legacy of founding visionary Hendra Hadiprana, whose design ethos embraced global influences. The pop-up serves as a homage to Hadiprana’s initial architectural endeavor, which was a Japanese zen garden established in Jakarta, and reflects his ongoing ambition to fashion spaces that bridge various cultural realms.
