India Hosts Its Inaugural 'SAI Best Sommelier of India' Competition in Mumbai

A prestigious competition highlights India's growing prominence in the sommelier world.

India celebrated a significant milestone by successfully hosting the inaugural edition of the 2025 SAI Best Sommelier of India competition at The LaLiT, Mumbai. This historic event, marking the first of its kind in India, aims to enhance the country’s recognition on the global wine map.

Jai Singh emerged as the winner, receiving accolades from a prestigious jury comprising international wine experts, including Saiko Tamura-Soga and Nina Basset.
