
The third edition of ‘Riders in the Wild – 2025’ was inaugurated on January 5 from the MPT ‘Wind and Waves’. This biking event aims to spotlight adventure tourism potential in Madhya Pradesh, showcasing its rich wildlife, stunning natural sites, and vibrant culture.

7-Day Biking Journey across India
Joint Director Santosh Shrivastava shared that the biking expedition will span seven days, traversing diverse landscapes and cultural experiences. From Bhopal to Gandhisagar Forest Retreat, overnight stays in luxurious tent cities await riders. Following this, participants will explore Chanderi’s rich heritage and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Khajuraho.

A total of twenty-eight bikers, including two women, are part of this expedition, coming from cities such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Udaipur. To ensure rider safety, an ambulance and medical team are on standby throughout the journey.

Madhya Pradesh was recently awarded the title of “Best Adventure Tourism State” at a national conference organized by the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), reflecting its commitment to fostering adventure tourism.
