Malaysia Launches Visit Malaysia 2026 Campaign

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim inaugurates the much-anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign aimed at boosting tourism.

Malaysia officially kicked off its long-awaited Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) initiative on January 6, featuring a grand event at the Hangar 6 of the MAB Engineering Complex.

The launch was led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who revealed the campaign’s logo, mascot, theme song, and aircraft design.

Key officials from various ministries attended, underscoring the significance of VM2026 to the nation. The campaign aims to increase tourism revenue and enhance Malaysia’s standing in the global tourism arena, ultimately aiming to contribute majorly to the national GDP.

VM2026 is projected to attract 35.6 million international visitors and generate RM147.1 billion in tourism earnings. The Ministry of Tourism, led by Tiong King Sing, is dedicated to ensuring its success.
