Gulf Air Announces New Flight Changes to Indian Destinations

Gulf Air is updating its flight schedule to enhance services to India, increasing flights to Bengaluru and Goa while discontinuing service to Calicut.

Gulf Air Flight Adjustments for India

Gulf Air (GF), the national airline of Bahrain, is refining its flight operations to better serve Indian cities in its summer 2025 schedule. Notable changes include:

  • Discontinuation of Flights to Kozhikode (Calicut): The last flight from Kozhikode will operate on March 28, 2025. Gulf Air currently operates four flights a week on this route, competing with Air India Express (AIX).

  • Increased Flights to Bengaluru (BLR): Gulf Air plans to double its flight capacity to Bengaluru, now offering two flights daily starting March 31, 2025, after previously intending to reduce the service.

  • Adding Flights to Goa (GOI): Flight frequency to Goa is set to increase to a daily service, responding to rising travel demands.

  • Kochi (COK) Frequency Reduction: There will be a decrease in the frequency of flights to Kochi, moving from four to three times weekly beginning April 6, 2025.

These changes reflect Gulf Air’s commitment to aligning its operations with market demands and enhancing customer satisfaction.
