The Lux Collective Introduces AI-Driven Leadership Training
The Lux Collective has launched an innovative program that utilizes AI technology in developing leadership skills.
The Lux Collective, a global luxury hospitality group, has launched an innovative leadership development program that incorporates AI-powered business simulations. This groundbreaking initiative, the first of its kind in the luxury hospitality sector, uses CELEMI Enterprise™ to enhance business acumen among its leaders. The program, designed specifically for luxury hospitality, seeks to blend commercial discipline with guest experience, meeting the challenges posed by increasing costs and changing demand.
The initiative spans 20 weeks and includes 133 senior leaders across eight resort destinations, such as Mauritius, Maldives, and Zanzibar. Participants engage in immersive virtual simulations that enable them to make strategic decisions impacting profitability and brand equity. The simulations are conducted in both English and French, closely reflecting real-world scenarios, which allow leaders to witness the effects of their choices in real-time.
Olivier Chavy, CEO of The Lux Collective, highlighted the significance of “owner-level thinking” for maintaining brand equity and profitability. This initiative not only enhances commercial fluency but also helps in identifying high-potential leaders, thereby strengthening the leadership pipeline. Smita Modak, Head of Learning and Development, expressed that the program’s realism illustrates how decisions convert into immediate consequences.
Furthermore, the initiative has sparked a cultural evolution within The Lux Collective, aligning creativity with commercial discipline. Nicolas Autrey, Chief of People & Culture, noted the creation of a unified commercial mindset throughout the organization. This positions The Lux Collective as a frontrunner in luxury leadership development, merging operational excellence with commercial savvy.
