Delta Unveils Future-Ready Suites for A350-1000 Aircraft
Delta Air Lines is introducing the new Delta One suite on the Airbus A350-1000, enhancing its customer experience with innovative features and upgrades.
Delta Air Lines is preparing to launch its next-generation Delta One suite on the Airbus A350-1000, after a comprehensive two-year design effort influenced by customer feedback collected over the last decade. This aircraft, which is Delta’s largest, is set to enter service in early 2027 featuring a premium seat configuration comprising 50% of its total seats.
In addition to the A350-1000 rollout, Delta will revamp its A330-200/300 aircraft with new suites that have privacy doors, which is a first for this fleet. These enhancements are part of a broader investment exceeding $1 billion dedicated to improving the overall passenger experience across Delta’s fleet.
Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Brand Experience at Delta, highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing a welcoming and familiar atmosphere for its passengers, remarking, “Every time a customer boards a Delta flight, the experience and surroundings should feel familiar, creating a sense of home and comfort when you’re away.”
The upgraded Delta One suites will be equipped with a flat-bed that is three inches longer, luxury memory foam cushions, a 24-inch high-resolution screen, and Bluetooth connectivity. A designated refreshment station will be available for Delta One passengers to enjoy snacks at their leisure.
Moreover, Delta is committed to enhancing accessibility with new tactile seat controls and improved lavatory facilities across both the A350-1000 and A330-200/300 fleets. The airline’s goal is to have 90% of Delta One seats fitted with these new suites by 2030, further solidifying its position as the leader in business class offerings among U.S. airlines.
