HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts has appointed Frank Fuentes as Senior Vice President for The Americas, marking a significant step in its strategic expansion across the region. Fuentes, who brings over 15 years of experience from InterContinental Hotels Group, will focus on North and Latin America, where investment confidence is driving record development and premium hotel growth.

Fuentes’ role aligns with HotelREZ’s strategy to boost its global presence, as the company has noted double-digit revenue growth and increased demand for its performance-oriented independent hotel representation. “Frank is a proven leader with deep relationships across the Americas,” stated Mark Lewis, the Founder and Group CEO of HotelREZ. “His appointment strengthens our leadership on the ground at a time when culturally rich, experience-led destinations across the Americas are entering a new phase of growth.”

Fuentes shared his excitement about rejoining an independent-first model, emphasizing HotelREZ’s commitment to discipline, accountability, and performance. “What stands out at HotelREZ is the clarity of intent — global ambition without detachment from the hotel owner,” he commented.

HotelREZ currently supports over 2,500 independent hotels worldwide with a portfolio retention rate exceeding 90%. Recently, the firm reported an 18.6% year-on-year revenue growth alongside a 9.8% increase in global Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR). This growth has been bolstered by further leadership appointments, including John Seaton as Chief Growth Officer and Hadley O’Dwyer as Vice President of Customer Success and Engagement.
