Rosewood Amsterdam is now accepting reservations starting June 1, 2025
This iconic property will be the final new hotel development within a historic building in Amsterdam, affirming Rosewood’s reputation as a leading luxury lifestyle brand. The hotel promises a unique cultural experience, merging its rich history with modern aspirations to create a one-of-a-kind destination.
After ten years in development, the former Palace of Justice is set to embark on a new chapter, as Rosewood returns this important landmark to the city of Amsterdam. Built in 1665 on UNESCO World Heritage-listed canals, the opening will establish a new standard for purpose-driven luxury, highlighted by its commitment to sustainable hospitality and local partnerships.
The hotel features 134 meticulously designed guest rooms and suites, including five extraordinary signature suites that provide splendid views of the iconic canals and traditional townhouse rooftops. Gastronomic offerings will include a selection of refined dining experiences featuring three distinct restaurants and bars, alongside a dedicated in-house distillery. The essence of gezelligheid—the Dutch ethos of warmth and coziness—will be apparent in all hotel venues while enhancing the local culinary scene.
Rosewood Amsterdam’s interiors are designed by Studio Piet Boon, respecting the building’s historical essence while providing a modern interpretation of Dutch craftsmanship. With unique features like private Salon Boats for navigating the city’s canals, guests will have the opportunity to explore Amsterdam’s rich heritage in comfort and style.
Bookings are currently open, with room rates starting at €1,200, inclusive of VAT but excluding breakfast and city tax.
