Eve Air Mobility Reaches Milestone with 50 Successful Test Flights

Eve Air Mobility, a leader in advanced air mobility solutions, has completed over 50 test flights, marking a key achievement for their electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Eve Air Mobility, a leader in advanced air mobility solutions, has successfully completed 50 test flights with its full-scale engineering prototype, accumulating over two hours of flight time since its first flight on December 19, 2025. These flights have provided critical data and insights necessary for the upcoming certification of Eve’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The company, backed by Embraer’s extensive aerospace knowledge, is progressing its program focused on urban air mobility. “Reaching 50 successful test flights with our engineering prototype is more than a technical milestone. It is clear evidence of the maturity of our program and the strength of the solutions we are building,” said Johann Bordais, CEO at Eve.

Eve’s testing strategy integrates aircraft development with solutions tailored for operators, urban environments, and air navigation providers, preparing for the introduction of urban aviation.

The insights gained from these flights will be essential in developing Eve’s conforming prototypes, with production expected to commence soon. These prototypes will be used in a certification flight test campaign with Brazil’s civil aviation authority, ANAC.

As the testing continues, Eve plans to enhance speed, evaluate energy management, and assess stability, noise, and vibration, with ambitions for complete transition flights later this year—all demonstrating Eve’s commitment to delivering high-performance eVTOL aircraft that align with the urban air mobility ecosystem.
