Virginia Guesthouse Hotel Opens Its Doors in Charlottesville
A newly launched hotel near the University of Virginia welcomes travelers and locals alike.
Virginia Guesthouse Hotel & Conference Centre has officially opened its doors in Charlottesville.
Situated along the University of Virginia’s Ivy Corridor, the nine-storey hotel features 214 rooms and 25,000 square feet of modern meeting facilities, with views of the university Grounds and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The hotel aims to serve as a gathering space that fosters community and supports the university’s activities.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors and welcome our neighbours and UVA family for the first time,” said General Manager Gregg Hilker.
The property is designed to blend seamlessly into the university’s iconic collegiate setting, offering a University of Virginia Welcome Centre with guided tours and historic insights. Charlottesville’s small-town charm enhances the hotel’s role as a vibrant hub for students, neighbours, and visitors. The hotel offers a trio of dining options, including Poplar, a full-service restaurant, The Perch, a rooftop bar and café, and a grab-and-go eatery. These venues promise regional flavours and convivial conversations.
Owned by the University of Virginia and managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, Virginia Guesthouse is part of Pyramid’s independent collection, Benchmark Resorts & Hotels. It is poised to become a desirable destination for meetings, events, and memorable stays in Virginia. For more information and bookings, visit VirginiaGuesthouse.com.
