HYROX Singapore to Transform into a Three-Day Event
HYROX expands its Singapore event to a three-day format, expecting over 14,000 athletes from 58 countries for the 2026 edition.
HYROX is set to return to Singapore with a significant expansion, transforming its event into a three-day affair for the first time. Scheduled from 3 to 5 April at the Singapore National Stadium, the AIA HYROX Singapore 2026 will host over 14,000 athletes from 58 countries, reflecting the sport’s growing popularity. The event, supported by Sport Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board, will feature additional races for the Men and Women’s open division and the adaptive division, which is gaining traction.
The race format remains consistent with global standards, comprising eight rounds of a 1km run followed by functional workout stations. These include activities such as the 1,000m SkiErg, 50m Sled Push, and 100 Wall Balls, ensuring inclusivity for athletes with varying physical abilities.
Gary Wan, HYROX APAC Managing Director, highlighted the event’s growth: “HYROX has grown from standalone events into a global network of races, welcoming participants from all walks of life.” He emphasised the collaboration with AIA to provide complimentary personal accident coverage for participants, enhancing the overall race experience.
The event is supported by partners like World of Hyatt, AirAsia, and Grab, offering benefits such as discounted flights and accommodation. AIA Singapore, the title sponsor, will provide personal accident coverage for participants and spectators throughout April 2026.
The event will also feature global artist Jay Park, competing in the men’s doubles category, adding to the excitement and community spirit. Registration remains open for both racers and spectators on the official HYROX Singapore website.
