Norwegian Luna Launches in Miami Featuring Family-Friendly Caribbean Cruises and the Longest Slide at Sea

The Norwegian Luna has debuted in Miami, promising exciting features for family trips in the Caribbean, including the longest water slide on a cruise.

Norwegian Cruise Line has officially christened the Norwegian Luna in Miami, marking the ship’s debut as the latest addition to its fleet and a significant choice for Caribbean cruising from PortMiami. The ship will offer round-trip Caribbean itineraries until April 2027, which include destinations like Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye.

The ceremony highlighted the line’s commitment to multi-generational travel, featuring family-oriented attractions along with resort-style experiences that enhance the cruise journey. The Norwegian Luna, extending 1,056 feet in length and accommodating 3,565 guests, is built with a focus on space, flexibility, and diverse vacation styles. Notably, it includes the Aqua Slidecoaster, touted as the longest and fastest slide at sea, and many entertainment options, including big shows and exclusive children’s experiences.

A wide array of 17 dining options and 18 bars and lounges will cater to guests, ensuring a rich experience at sea.
