
Grand Opening of Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu as a Chic Social Hub
The Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu has officially opened, presenting a luxurious venue that embodies both Italian style and Chengdu's cultural richness.
The highly anticipated Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu celebrated its grand opening on 28 March 2026, marking the debut of the first Tonino Lamborghini-branded hotel in Southwestern China. Situated near Tianfu Square, the hotel aims to serve as the city’s Stylish Social Salon, blending Italian aesthetics with Chengdu’s rich cultural fabric.
Located along the city’s central axis, the hotel is crafted to offer a mix of luxury and cultural immersion. General Manager Jay Zou emphasized the hotel’s dedication to upholding both Italian elegance and the genuine essence of Chengdu life. “What we safeguard is not only the purity of Italian elegance but also the authentic spirit of Chengdu life,” he stated.
The hotel offers elegant guestrooms and suites starting from 49 square meters, furnished with high-end amenities including custom King Koil mattresses, Dyson hairdryers, and Nespresso coffee machines. Guests can also access exclusive butler services and complimentary minibar service in selected suites that overlook Tianfu Square.
The architecture reflects a harmonious blend of Italian and Eastern philosophies, designed by an international design team. Facilities include diverse dining options such as the 2839 CaféBar, Yi Hui restaurant, and a nearly 2,000-square-meter conference center featuring an 800-square-meter pillarless ballroom.
The inaugural event showcased a traditional lion dance, art tours, and an Italian Lifestyle Exhibition, emphasizing the unique combination of art, fashion, and social engagement that the hotel seeks to promote. The opening of Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Chengdu marks an important milestone for the brand in China, enhancing Chengdu’s reputation as an International Consumption Centre City.
