Fliggy Launches AI Booking Feature for Users

Following the introduction of AI planning tools in 2025, Fliggy users can now book travel products directly through the AI interface. This functionality is powered by Alibaba’s Qwen App, which processed 200 million shopping orders during the recent Chinese Spring Festival. Dr. Alex Chen, CTO of Fliggy, noted, > “Already consumers are moving from using AI just for search to actually using AI to execute tasks.”

On March 25, 2026, Fliggy has confirmed that its AI interface can handle bookings after a successful trial period. The integration with Qwen App has allowed for an 800% increase in AI orders during the Spring Festival, with attraction ticket bookings being the most popular.

Conversion rates for air and train tickets, as well as attraction tickets, are now comparable to well-established OTAs. Dr. Chen added, “Alibaba’s Qwen can deeply integrate core services to enhance customer experience across multiple platforms, paving the way for a future where travel, shopping, and delivery are interlinked.”

This news indicates that Fliggy is at the forefront of adopting a multi-agent approach to AI-powered products, transforming from traditional online travel agencies to omni-intelligent travel agents.
