Brescia is set to captivate travelers in 2026 with a series of unique events that highlight its cultural and scenic offerings. Nestled between Milan and Venice, Brescia will host a variety of festivals and activities, from the renowned Mille Miglia car race to the immersive Festa dell’Opera, drawing visitors to its historic city center and picturesque surroundings.
Brescia’s 2026 events kick off with Valtènesi in Rosa from May 22 to 24, a celebration of rosé wines set against the medieval backdrop of Moniga del Garda. This is followed by the Festa dell’Opera on June 6, transforming the city into an open-air stage with performances of Puccini and Verdi in over 50 venues. The Mille Miglia, taking place from June 9 to 13, will feature over 400 vintage cars parading through Brescia, presenting a living museum of automotive history.
In August, the Bienno Exhibition Market will animate the medieval streets of Bienno with art and craft demonstrations. In September, the Centomiglia Regatta on Lake Iseo will showcase Europe’s top teams in a 100-mile sailing race. Finally, from September 18 to 20, Franciorta in Cantina invites visitors to explore the region’s vineyards and indulge in tastings of its renowned sparkling wines.
