Global travel distribution platform Dida held its Engage Hong Kong & Macau partner event at the M+ Museum on March 20. The gathering united senior leaders from major hotel partners in the region, highlighting Dida’s commitment to bolstering its APAC supply network, with Hong Kong and Macau being pivotal gateways for travelers from China.

As China remains a key source market for travel, Hong Kong and Macau are ideally positioned to meet increasing demand thanks to their close proximity and strong appeal to Chinese tourists. Dida aims to deepen its partnerships with hotel groups in these areas to improve both inventory quality and distribution efficiency.

This engagement is part of Dida’s larger strategy to enhance regional connectivity and foster collaborations with hotel partners in rapidly growing markets. The company plans to conduct similar initiatives in other strategic destinations, reinforcing its objective of establishing a more efficient and data-driven global travel distribution ecosystem.

The event attracted general managers, sales and marketing directors, and senior commercial leaders from various significant hospitality groups. Dida’s Engage conferences provide a platform for strategic dialogues, sharing insights about market trends, and exploring collaborative opportunities.

Daryl Lee, CEO of Dida Holdings, stated: “Hong Kong and Macau are strategically important destinations within our global network, especially considering their strong connectivity with China, our largest source market. As travel demand evolves, we see significant opportunities to strengthen relationships with partners, enhancing demand intelligence through AI-driven insights that optimize supply distribution.”

The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong’s Anas Bencheqroun emphasized the relevance of Dida’s market insights and real-time data. He noted that as the Chinese outbound travel landscape becomes more complex, platforms that offer actionable recommendations will be vital in achieving long-term success.

Dida continues to develop its direct contracting in various key markets, supported by enhanced data capabilities and advanced technology infrastructure. This strategy aims to help hotel partners better understand traveler behavior, optimize prices dynamically, and improve conversion rates through automated insights across various distribution channels.
