Overview of the 2028 World Cruise
Starting its journey on January 3, 2028, this epic cruise departs roundtrip from either Fort Lauderdale or Los Angeles, providing guests flexible starting points. The ship will sail approximately 36,000 nautical miles, crossing both the Equator and the International Date Line as it makes its way around the globe.
This itinerary includes stops at 49 ports spread across 24 countries, allowing access to 39 UNESCO World Heritage Sites along the way. For those unable to commit to the entire voyage, Princess offers segment options lasting from around 20 to 100 days, enabling guests to customize their travel experience.
The Journey of Coral Princess
Carrying approximately 2,000 guests, Coral Princess is designed for the Panama Canal and will serve as the home base for this four-month expedition. After leaving North America, the ship will navigate the legendary Panama Canal en route to the Pacific.
Guests will experience the South Pacific, with stops in Samoa and Fiji, including sights of volcanic landscapes and coral lagoons. The voyage also includes visits to Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, allowing for encounters with wildlife and natural beauty.
Continuing across the Indian Ocean, the ship will explore remote islands such as Mauritius and Réunion before heading to Africa. In South Africa, guests can look forward to an overnight stay in Cape Town and, for the first time on a Princess cruise, the introduction of Mossel Bay, a picturesque town known for its beaches and archaeological sites.
More Ashore Program
The highlight of this cruise is the expanded More Ashore program, which grants guests additional time in renowned cities. Notable stops include overnight stays in Cape Town, South Africa, and Auckland, New Zealand, offering guests a full opportunity to immerse in local nightlife and culture.
Additionally, there will be 10 late-night departures from locations such as Barcelona, Casablanca, and Melbourne, allowing guests to enjoy longer evenings of dining and exploring.
Onboard Experience
Onboard, there are themed deck parties, cultural shows, destination-focused lectures, language classes, and culinary workshops. Dining quality is tied closely to the itinerary, featuring menus inspired by the destinations.
