Celebrity Solstice Announces Significant Upgrade for 2026: New Spaces and a Grand Voyage

Celebrity Solstice introduces an impressive makeover featuring new lounges, suites, and a major voyage planned for 2026.

Celebrity Solstice has emerged from a transformative 45‑day dry dock in Singapore with a bold new look and a host of fresh experiences, just in time to welcome guests back onboard. The ship’s top deck has been completely reimagined, staterooms have been upgraded and expanded, and a trio of new venues – including two specialty restaurants and a cabaret‑style lounge – are set to redefine life at sea for Celebrity fans.

Sunset Park: A New Aft-Facing Oasis
One of the highlight additions is Sunset Park, a half-acre, aft-facing outdoor lounge that replaces the original Lawn Club concept. Spanning the ship’s upper deck, this open-air space has been designed as an all-day social hub with sweeping wake views, perfect for sunrise yoga, lawn games, live music, and movie nights under the stars.

Sunset Park features:

  • An expanded Sunset Bar, now with more alfresco seating and an enhanced cocktail program.
  • Private cabanas with dedicated service, ideal for sea days and sailaway parties.
  • A large outdoor movie screen and flexible event space for concerts, themed evenings, and relaxed gatherings.

It’s a big visual and experiential statement, and firmly positions Celebrity Solstice as a ship made for those golden evening hours when the horizon glows and you simply don’t want to be indoors.

New-Look Staterooms and Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suites
Every stateroom on Celebrity Solstice has been refreshed as part of the upgrade, with new soft furnishings, updated bathrooms, and contemporary design touches inspired by the line’s Edge-class ships. In total, the ship now offers four new accommodation categories, expanding options for guests who want more space and better views.

The new categories include:

  • Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suites – luxurious, forward-facing suites with floor-to-ceiling glass that transforms from a fully enclosed lounge to an open-air veranda at the touch of a button.
  • Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View Suites – larger ocean-view spaces with elevated seating areas and wider sightlines.
  • Panoramic Ocean View Suites – bright, picture-window accommodations ideal for guests who love scenery but don’t need a balcony.
  • Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View – enhanced ocean-view staterooms with improved layouts and storage.

Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse: Elevated Dining
Food enthusiasts have much to anticipate on the revitalized Celebrity Solstice. Two new specialty restaurants headline the culinary enhancements: Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse.

  • Trattoria Rossa

    • A new Italian concept for Celebrity, inspired by Roman and Southern Italian cuisine.
    • Menus feature fresh, house-made pastas, classic meat and seafood dishes, and tableside preparations such as chicken parmesan and Caesar salad.
  • Fine Cut Steakhouse

    • A guest-favorite from Celebrity’s Edge-class, now debuting on Solstice.
    • Offers 30-day dry-aged steaks, premium seafood, and a refined, supper-club atmosphere perfect for date nights and celebrations.

These additions sit alongside refreshed bars and lounges across the ship, including updated designs for Café al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, and more.

Boulevard Lounge: Cabaret, Cocktails, and Late-Night Energy
The new Boulevard Lounge is a cabaret-style entertainment venue with an adjacent bar, created by reimagining several former spaces in the ship’s Entertainment Court. By day, Boulevard Lounge hosts interactive activities such as game shows and trivia; by night, it transforms into an intimate setting for candlelit concerts, dueling pianos, comedy, and cabaret-style performances.

Where Celebrity Solstice Is Sailing Next
Fresh from dry dock, Celebrity Solstice will sail in Asia and Australia before heading north to make her Alaska debut in May, launching a new era of Solstice-class cruising in the region. Then, on 13 September 2026, Solstice departs on a remarkable 110-night Grand Voyage, one of Celebrity’s longest itineraries to date.

The journey spans more than 55 ports across Alaska, the Pacific Islands, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, finishing in Hong Kong on New Year’s Eve. Guests can choose to sail the full 110 nights or book regional sectors, such as Alaska, South Pacific or Australia–Asia legs, depending on time and budget.

Why This Solstice Upgrade Matters
Celebrity Cruises is investing around US$250 million to modernize its entire Solstice-class fleet, and Celebrity Solstice is the first to emerge with the full suite of upgrades. For guests, that means a ship that now blends the beloved layout and size of a classic with many of the premium features, design cues, and dining experiences found on Celebrity’s newest vessels.
