Banyan Tree Expands Global Wellbeing Retreats

Banyan Tree enhances its spa and wellbeing offerings through its expanding Connections programme, offering immersive retreats worldwide.

Banyan Tree, the flagship brand of Banyan Group, is expanding its global spa and wellbeing offerings with the evolution of its Banyan Tree Connections programme. Launched in 2025, the programme now includes Connections Retreats, immersive small-group wellbeing journeys designed to deepen personal reflection and shared experiences. This expansion will see the programme introduced to eight additional Banyan Tree destinations worldwide, alongside new visiting practitioner residencies and a global partnership with Manduka.

The Connections Retreats are at the core of Banyan Tree’s enhanced offerings, providing multiday wellbeing journeys for small groups. These retreats are shaped by the natural rhythms and cultural context of each destination, offering practices such as mindfulness, movement, meditation, and local rituals. Notable retreats in 2026 include a session with Manduka ambassador Nicole Marty in Montenegro and a retreat led by sustainability advocate Nadya Hutagalung in Bali.

Following the success of the private holistic wellbeing immersion for two, Banyan Tree Connections will expand to new locations, including Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia and Banyan Tree Dubai in the UAE. The programme integrates movement, mindfulness, and shared rituals to nurture inner balance and relational harmony.

Banyan Tree’s Visiting Practitioner Programme will continue to welcome internationally recognised wellbeing experts for limited-time residencies. Upcoming sessions include a residency by Yuttana Poncharoen in Krabi and a series led by Florence Piers in Montenegro.

The partnership with Manduka will integrate performance yoga equipment across selected destinations, with Manduka-affiliated practitioners leading retreats and residencies. This collaboration aims to create wellbeing journeys rooted in purpose and meaningful connection.
