Singapore Tourism Board Launches Special Flight to Muscat

The Singapore Tourism Board has arranged a special flight for affected visitors due to the Middle East airspace closure.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has introduced a special flight aimed at helping foreign travelers affected by the recent airspace closure in the Middle East. The flight departed from Singapore Changi Airport and landed at Muscat International Airport, Oman, at 5:30 AM on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Passengers wishing to take this flight need to register their interest by 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, through the STB’s website. This service is a direct response to the travel disruptions caused by the airspace closure, assisting many stranded travelers by providing an alternative route.

The STB, as Singapore’s principal tourism development agency, plays a vital role in managing such interruptions to ensure a seamless experience for visitors. This initiative underlines the STB’s commitment to maintaining Singapore’s image as a vibrant destination.

For more information, travelers are encouraged to contact the STB Tourist Information Hotline. The STB’s proactive approach highlights the significance of flexibility and responsiveness in the tourism sector, helping ensure travelers can resume their journeys with minimal delay.
