Prague and Brno are set to become prime destinations for business travelers in 2025, offering unique experiences beyond traditional conference settings.

The capital city of Prague and the second city Brno are anticipating a rise in business tourism this upcoming year, with emphasis on providing delegates more than just the usual conference room experience.

As the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry grows, Czechia is emerging as a favored choice for 2025 events. The country boasts an extensive selection of hotels and conference centers nestled in two of the most picturesque cities.

Cost-Effectiveness

Compared to other European destinations, Czechia offers premium services at economical rates, appealing to companies eager to maximize their event budgets.

Where to Conduct Business?

Prague’s ongoing success in the MICE arena is credited to its cultural richness, modern infrastructure, and strategic location in Central Europe. The city provides a diverse array of venues, including the Prague Congress Centre, featuring 20 halls and 50 meeting rooms. Notably, the Hilton Prague gained the title of Best MICE Hotel in the Czech Republic at the 2024 World MICE Awards.

In addition, Marriott International has recently launched its first W Hotel in the Czech capital, introducing W Prague with seven event and meeting rooms.

Prague’s accessibility plays a significant role in enhancing the city’s reputation as a top destination for leisure and business travelers alike. Václav Havel Airport Prague serves as a hub for over 150 global destinations.

Furthermore, the ‘bleisure’ trend remains strong, with corporate travelers embracing the opportunity to explore the city’s attractions and extend their stays after business engagements.

Katarina Hobbs, Director of CzechTourism in the UK & Ireland stated:

“This major event will offer three days of B2B meetings, keynote speeches and great networking opportunities.”

This promising combination of business facilities, rich cultural experiences, and scenic outdoor locations positions Czechia as a leading destination for MICE events in 2025.

Beyond Prague
While Prague’s business travel appeal is clear, Brno is also gaining ground as a distinguished destination for MICE. The Brno Exhibition Centre offers advanced technology and unique venues, surrounded by the stunning South Moravian countryside, providing an excellent backdrop for corporate events.

The rich landscape of Czechia also offers outdoor activities for delegates seeking a break from corporate life—hiking, cycling, and sightseeing are all easily accessible from the major cities.

Czechia stands ready to host MICE events with robust support from local authorities, including assistance with venue selection and organizational logistics. Everything that business travelers require is right here in Czechia.
