Korean Air Launches Its New Flagship Lounge at LAX
Korean Air's newly upgraded flagship lounge at LAX is set to open, featuring premium amenities and a substantial investment of $48 million.
Korean Air is poised to launch its renovated flagship lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on March 6. Located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, this two-level lounge is now the airline’s largest overseas lounge directly managed, representing a substantial investment of $48 million (KRW 65 billion). Designed by LTW Designworks, the lounge embodies Korean Air’s dynamic branding and rich history, anticipating its integration with Asiana Airlines.
The lounge promises a luxurious experience with features such as a First Class Lounge equipped with private suites, fine dining, and a cocktail bar. The Miler Club and Prestige Class Lounges will showcase an open-kitchen design with local craft beers and a special Los Angeles coffee blend. Guests can also benefit from digital ordering through QR codes, premium shower facilities, and dedicated business areas.
As the primary North American hub for Korean Air, this lounge remains available to premium passengers of Korean Air and SkyTeam members. After the opening, a redesigned lounge at New York’s JFK Airport is scheduled to follow later this year.
David Pacey stated, “We will continue to invest in our services and infrastructure to exceed the expectations of our global customers.” This development significantly enhances Korean Air’s international footprint, providing travellers globally with a distinct and superior premium experience.
