Sabre, PayPal, and Mindtrip have announced a strategic partnership to introduce the travel industry’s first complete AI experience. This groundbreaking platform, anticipated to launch in Q2 2026, aims to seamlessly integrate planning, real-time shopping, booking, and payments, thus transforming how consumers arrange their travels.
The collaboration draws on Sabre’s extensive travel infrastructure, PayPal’s digital wallet and identity verification features, and Mindtrip’s AI platform. This combined effort seeks to eliminate the bothersome fragmented booking experiences, fostering a workflow that transitions effortlessly from travel inspiration to final booking and management post-purchase.
Garry Wiseman, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Sabre, emphasized the partnership’s potential to “accelerate the future of travel in a practical and scalable way.”
Travelers will engage with an AI assistant on the Mindtrip platform, detailing their destination, budget, preferences, and timing in simple language. The platform will then provide tailored flight and hotel suggestions, allowing users to inquire further and finalize bookings directly through the interface. PayPal intends to ensure identity verification and offer a trusted checkout experience, including flexible payment options like Pay Later.
Mindtrip’s CEO, Andy Moss, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Instead of navigating through various tools and payment screens, travelers will enjoy the convenience of discovering, planning, booking, and paying for trips within a single, intuitive, trustful conversation.”
This collaboration aims to set a new standard in travel booking, focusing on a more straightforward, personalized, and user-friendly approach for travelers worldwide.
