Marriott International has launched an enhanced programme, Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy, offering nearly 100 unique guest experiences across 80 properties in Asia Pacific, excluding China. The initiative focuses on intentional travel, allowing guests to engage deeply with local communities and environments through curated experiences.

The programme operates on two principles: Community and Environment. It aims to deliver enriching experiences that highlight the cultural and ecological significance of each destination. Examples of these experiences include coral restoration projects in the Maldives, culinary explorations in Osaka, and traditional agricultural practices in Thailand. In the Maldives, guests can adopt a coral at Sheraton Full Moon Maldives Resort & Spa, engaging in hands-on restoration projects. W Osaka offers guided tours that explore the city’s culinary and architectural heritage, while JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in Thailand offers a hands-on nipa palm planting experience.

These experiences are crafted to foster meaningful connections and allow guests to positively contribute to local ecosystems and communities. The programme also supports local economies by involving local artisans and communities in the experiences offered.
