Fairmont Hotels & Resorts unveils its inaugural property in Vietnam, set to open in February 2026.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, which is a member of the Accor global hospitality group, has officially announced the launch of its first hotel in Vietnam, “Fairmont Hanoi”. This new establishment is poised to welcome its first guests in February 2026. Located in the vibrant Old Quarter of Hanoi, the hotel will feature 241 guest rooms, which include 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites. Additionally, it will offer eight dining options and boasts the largest pillarless ballroom in the city.
The hotel aims to blend modern luxury with the rich cultural heritage of Hanoi, designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design. Guests can expect a bustling culinary hub, including restaurant Tran Dynasty, led by renowned Chef Luke Nguyen, which will showcase contemporary Vietnamese cuisine. Other dining highlights include Hiryu, inspired by Japanese culinary traditions, and Bacco, an Italian venue overseen by Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard. The hotel’s Pool Terrace & Bar promises scenic city views.
The wellness offerings will include The Cirua Spa, Fitness & Wellness Club, which encompasses 38,000 square feet, featuring a luxury bathhouse, hydrotherapy, thermal areas, and a fully equipped fitness studio. For events, the hotel provides over 4,000 square meters of venue space, highlighted by the Old Quarter’s biggest ballroom.
Omer Acar, the CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, expressed his enthusiasm about the hotel’s opening, stating, “Fairmont Hanoi is designed to be a real gathering spot—a lively social hub where celebrations can naturally take place.” Lê Tuấn Anh from GELEX Group emphasized the significance of the project in improving Hanoi’s urban scenery, while also maintaining its cultural character.
