SalamAir Celebrates Nine Years with Growth Plans

SalamAir marks its ninth anniversary, showcasing its achievements and future expansion strategies.

SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost airline, celebrates its 9th anniversary, emphasizing nearly a decade of affordable and dependable air travel. In 2025 alone, the airline flew 22,164 flights and carried over 3.4 million passengers, expanding its reach to 44 destinations. This growth is in alignment with Oman’s Vision 2040, which emphasizes expanding networks and improving fleets.

The airline currently has 15 aircraft in its fleet, with plans to include three more by 2026, set for delivery in May, June, and September. New routes have been launched to Port Sudan, Damascus, Vienna, and Medan, with additional destinations expected to be announced later this year. SalamAir is focusing on diversifying its network towards markets that show strong demand and balanced competition.

Adrian Hamilton-Manns, SalamAir’s CEO, expressed appreciation to passengers and partners, stating: “This milestone reflects the commercial strength, agility, and dedication of our team, reinforcing our focus on profitable growth, customer-led innovation, and positioning SalamAir as a leading low-cost carrier in the region.”

In India, SalamAir collaborates with the Aeroprime Group to bolster its market presence and foster trade engagements across eight critical stations. Looking ahead, SalamAir remains dedicated to ongoing enhancement and innovation, cementing its role as a prominent player in the aviation sector.
