Saudia Achieves Major Milestone with 37 Million Guests in 2025

Saudia reports a 6% growth in passengers compared to the previous year, showcasing significant operational improvements.

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, achieved significant growth in 2025, transporting approximately 37 million guests—a 6% increase from the previous year. The airline operated over 203,900 flights to more than 100 destinations, marking a 4.7% rise in flight operations. Total flight hours reached around 597,000, up by 2.5%.

Moreover, Saudia reported an 8.4% increase in intercontinental transit traffic, transporting over 3.2 million transit guests. This growth was attributed to strategic year-round operational planning, including for peak travel seasons. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, stated, “Our sustained year-on-year growth in the number of guests transported, whilst maintaining operational efficiency and on-time performance, reflects the integrated efforts of our teams across planning and operations.”

Saudia’s operational growth aligns with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, aiming to serve 330 million guests and connect Saudi Arabia to over 250 global destinations by 2030. The airline operates one of the youngest fleets in the Middle East with 149 aircraft, covering approximately 100 destinations across four continents. Recently, Saudia received multiple accolades for its service excellence, including the title of Best Airline Staff Service for 2025 by Skytrax.
