
Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism Partners with California Chamber of Commerce
A new partnership aims to enhance tourism and investment opportunities between Cambodia and the United States.
Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism announced a partnership with the Cambodia-California Chamber of Commerce to promote the country’s tourism potential and investment opportunities in the United States.
On Monday, 26th January, Minister Huot Hak met with Huot Kim Chha, who is the honorary consul-general of Cambodia to California and president of the Chamber, along with a delegation of over 20 U.S. investors. They discussed collaboration in the tourism sector and ways to improve investment in Cambodia.
This meeting provided an excellent opportunity to explore Cambodia’s tourism potential and attract U.S. investment, emphasizing the Kingdom’s safety and security, as well as rapid economic growth and infrastructure development.
Minister Hak praised the Chamber’s trust in the Cambodian government and highlighted ongoing investments and initiatives that strengthen the partnership with the private sector in the U.S.
Also discussed were immediate and medium-term strategies by the Ministry to tackle challenges and promote sustainable tourism growth.
