Malaysia's Campaign Visit Malaysia 2026 Launched in Cebu

A report on the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign lunch hosted in Cebu, Philippines to attract more tourists.

On January 28, Malaysian Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Tiong King Sing hosted the launch of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign at a luncheon in the Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort. The event, themed A Taste of Truly Asia, is part of the Malaysian delegation’s engagement at the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026.

The luncheon aimed to introduce the campaign in the Philippines and enhance tourism from both the country and the broader ASEAN area. Attendees experienced Malaysian cuisine through a special presentation designed for international buyers and media.

Cultural Showcase

The event highlighted Malaysia’s culture with live demonstrations of Nyonya beaded shoemaking, Teh Tarik performances, and food sampling showcasing traditional dishes. They included traditional Gambus performances to celebrate the richness of Malaysian culture and its diverse tourist attractions.

This promotion continues with a Food and Culture event running until January 30 at the same venue, welcoming locals to experience the vibrant culture and culinary treasures of Malaysia.
