
Bahrain Airport Company Appoints New VP of Corporate Communications
Eman Marhoon has been appointed Vice President of Corporate Communications at Bahrain Airport Company, tasked with enhancing stakeholder engagement and media relations.
Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has officially named Eman Marhoon as the new Vice President of Corporate Communications. In her new role, she will manage strategic communications, media relations, and engage with stakeholders at Bahrain International Airport (BIA). With a wealth of over 25 years in corporate communications and journalism, Marhoon previously served as the Director of Corporate Communications for Gulf Air Group and BAC.
Ahmed Janahi, BAC’s Acting CEO, stated, “We are pleased to welcome Eman to Bahrain Airport Company. She brings valuable experience gained through her work across Gulf Air Group entities, along with strong exposure to the regional and global aviation and media landscapes.”
Marhoon’s leadership is deemed essential as BIA is poised for growth, supported by her extensive familiarity with the airport and her communications expertise. Martin Gauss, CEO of Gulf Air, recognized Marhoon’s profound impact on corporate communications within Bahrain’s aviation sector and expressed his support.
Eman holds a Master in Business Administration and a Master of Mass Communications, aiming to bolster BIA’s reputation as a modern, distinctive hub in the Gulf.
