Klook Introduces Unique Tours in the Philippines

Klook collaborates with the Philippine Department of Tourism to launch exclusive travel packages.

Online travel platform Klook has unveiled a series of curated tour packages in collaboration with the Philippine Department of Tourism’s (DOT) flagship initiative, the Philippine Experience Programme (PEP).

The program was officially launched on January 15, 2025, through a memorandum of agreement signed by both parties. This partnership aligns with the National Tourism Development Plan’s focus on digital innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity for tourism growth.

The PEP showcases five destinations in the Philippines known for their rich cultural heritage and arts, featuring tours to Palawan, Calabarzon, Bicol, Ilocos, and the Western Visayas.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco expressed gratitude for Klook’s partnership, stating, “We are grateful that Klook has partnered with the Department of Tourism to support the Love the Philippines campaign, which we have taken all over the world, opening up the eyes of the world to the many reasons to love our country.”

Klook’s Co-founder and President, Erick Gnock Fah, shared his excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of including local tourist operators in the initiative. “We are dedicated to ensuring that digital transformation positively impacts the entire industry,” Fah noted.

Klook aims to connect global travelers with diverse local experiences, with package prices varying based on the selected tours. For example, a package in Calabarzon that includes three nights and four days of accommodation, meals, and transportation is priced at PHP33,888 per person for groups of four, and PHP24,888 for groups of eight.

Additionally, this partnership will allow for the integration of DOT’s Tourist Rest Areas (TRAs) on the Klook platform and further collaborations with Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Clark International Airport endorsed by DOT.

Presently, Klook offers over half a million travel experiences across more than 2,700 destinations in the Philippines.
