Dusit Celebrates Record Year with 24 New Hotel Signings in 2025

Leading Thai hotel and property development firm Dusit International achieved its highest development performance in its history in 2025, recording an all-time high of 24 hotel signings, significantly strengthening its global pipeline across key growth markets in Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

This milestone appears at a time when numerous hotel groups are reassessing expansion strategies amid rising development costs and shifting investor expectations. For Dusit, this record year reflects a deliberate business growth strategy grounded in brand clarity, disciplined execution, and efficient market project launches, helping to create early and sustainable value for owners.

While the number of signings marks a new peak, Dusit’s development strategy continues to prioritize quality over sheer quantity.

A Year of Significant Signings
Central to Dusit’s plan is a growing focus on conversions and brownfield developments, which offer faster timelines and earlier returns compared to traditional greenfield projects while allowing the group to expand its footprint across diverse markets with agility and control. This capability was demonstrated in numerous projects signed and opened in 2025, including Dusit Hotel AG Park, Chengdu, China; dusitD2 Feydhoo, Maldives; and Tantawan Tented Camp, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
Each of these reflects Dusit’s ability to execute quickly while preserving brand standards and creating unique guest experiences aligned with local contexts.

Simultaneously, Dusit’s evolving brand architecture has played a key role in supporting international growth. The recent introduction of Devarana – Dusit Retreats, Dusit Collection, and Dusit Hotels has expanded the group’s reach across wellness-led luxury, character-driven high-end stays, and the upper-upscale segment, enabling Dusit to respond more precisely to the needs of travelers and partners.

Major Debuts
In Indonesia, the signing of Kaliwatu Villas & Residences – Dusit Collection marked Dusit’s entry in the country, while in Japan, Dusit extended its success with the signing of WE Hotel – Dusit Collection, a cozy lakeside retreat. India emerged as a major growth market, adding six new properties under the Dusit Collection and Dusit Princess brands, spanning a diverse range of attractions.

In the Maldives, Devarana – Dusit Retreat Maldives and dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives highlight Dusit’s ongoing commitment to the region. In the Middle East, Dusit is further solidifying its presence with Dusit Hotel Al Ahsa in Saudi Arabia and expanding its footprint in the Philippines with ASAI Camaya Coast and Dusit Hotel Greenhills Manila.

The domestic landscape in Thailand has been diversified with the signing of Dusit Suites Sriracha alongside the grand opening of Tantawan Tented Camp, promoting sustainability through community engagement and eco-friendly design. Dusit is also gearing up for its strategic return to Myanmar with the legendary The Strand Hotel – Dusit Collection in Yangon.

Together, these signings have brought Dusit’s active development pipeline to over 50 properties globally, all set to open within the next five years.
