VIVA Cruises officially named its new river vessel, VIVA ENJOY, at a ceremony in Düsseldorf, eyeing to enhance its offerings on European waterways.

VIVA Cruises officially named its newest ship, VIVA ENJOY, at its home port of Düsseldorf on Tuesday, January 14. 

With a festive ceremony and many good wishes from guests, VIVA Cruises’ third new build ship is set to offer exciting itineraries on the Rhine, Danube, and beyond. 

VIVA Cruises chief executive Andrea Kruse stated: “We are thrilled to celebrate the christening of our third new build ship today. This milestone marks another significant step in our journey to provide exceptional river cruising experiences.”

UK cruise writer Jeannine Williamson was honored as the godmother of VIVA ENJOY, highlighting VIVA Cruises’ commitment to its growing English-speaking audience and the global market.

At the christening, over 200 guests were invited worldwide, along with Düsseldorf locals who witnessed the launch.

The VIVA ENJOY will connect Amsterdam, Budapest, and Vienna for the first time in 2025, offering new 7-, 10-, and 14-day itineraries. Additionally, it will feature one-week trips from Frankfurt to Amsterdam, making it an attractive option for travelers exploring Europe.

Sophisticated and Sustainable

VIVA ENJOY will enhance guest experiences with a multi-purpose treatment room and three restaurants: RIVERSIDE, MOMENTS, and VIVA’s Bistro. The ship complies with the highest standards for environmental certifications, mirroring VIVA Cruises’ dedication to innovation and sustainability.

Comfort on the Water

The ship features 95 stylish cabins, accommodating up to 190 passengers. Many cabins include French balconies, offering an elegant atmosphere.

Additional amenities include a fitness and wellness area, free rental bicycles for guests, and an open-plan lounge on the spacious sun deck.
