Gulf Air to Reestablish Routes to Geneva and Nice
Gulf Air announces the resumption of flights to two popular European destinations for the summer of 2026.
Gulf Air, the national airline of Bahrain, is set to restart its seasonal flights to Geneva and Nice for the summer of 2026. These routes include a stop in Milan, offering travelers convenient access to popular European destinations. The flights to Nice will run from May 24 to September 27, while services to Geneva are scheduled from June 5 to September 11, both operating twice weekly with Airbus A321neo aircraft.
This restoration of routes is part of Gulf Air’s comprehensive summer timetable, aiming to enhance travel options and improve connectivity via Bahrain International Airport. The decision addresses the rising demand for European travel during the summer months, ensuring passengers benefit from dependable schedules and high service standards. Martin Gauss, the CEO of Gulf Air, noted, “Europe continues to be a favored summer destination for travelers from Bahrain and the broader region.”
Established in 1950 and acknowledged as a “Five-Star Major Airline” by APEX for 2026, Gulf Air services over 50 destinations globally. The airline operates a fleet that includes Boeing 787 and Airbus A320/A321 aircraft. Bookings for the newly reinstated routes are now available through Gulf Air’s website, mobile app, contact center, and travel agents.
