Royal Garden Launches New Urban Resort in Hong Kong

Discover the Royal Garden Kowloon East, a new urban resort set to redefine luxury in Hong Kong with its unique design and amenities.

Opening of the Royal Garden Kowloon East

Hong Kong’s esteemed Royal Garden hotel brand has expanded for the first time in 44 years with the unveiling of The Royal Garden Kowloon East in Tseung Kwan O this January. This 366-room urban resort, previously the Crowne Plaza Kowloon East, has been meticulously designed to serve as an “oasis of calm”. The transformation reflects the Royal Garden’s signature elegance, courtesy of Sun Hung Kai Properties.

The resort introduces a nature-inspired aesthetic coupled with a vibrant array of dining and lifestyle experiences. According to Jenny Chan, the Area General Manager, this resort marks a “bold evolution of the brand,” targeting a new generation of discerning travelers.

Families will appreciate the property’s exclusive villas, featuring private gardens designed with a Balinese theme. Unveiling of the Royal Garden Kowloon East will occur in phases throughout 2026, with exclusive offers available until March 31.

Comfortable Spaces for All

The guest rooms offer an extensive range of options from family-friendly interconnected setups to luxurious suites. Unique themed family rooms, including the Junk Bay Kids’ Den and Family Fortress Room, promise extraordinary holiday experiences.

Dining experiences will be elevated by the introduction of Ponentino, a rooftop Italian restaurant influenced by the renowned Sabatini Ristorante Italiano, scheduled to open in July with spectacular views over the breathtaking Tseung Kwan O area.

Additional amenities include a 25-meter outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a Kids Club. A modern event space, the Diamond Room 8, can accommodate up to 180 guests, making it perfect for various gatherings. The eco-friendly design by LAAB Architects resonates with Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha, merging indoor opulence with outdoor tranquility.
