Secret Atlas Unveils Plans for the 2027 Summer Arctic Expeditions

The expedition micro-cruise company Secret Atlas has announced exciting itineraries for its summer Arctic season in 2027, including journeys to remote fjords and wildlife-rich locations.

Expedition micro-cruise specialist Secret Atlas recently announced the itineraries for its upcoming 2027 summer Arctic season.

Offerings for the period include a number of standout itineraries to the world’s largest fjord system Scoresbysund, and wildlife-rich Svalbard.

Michele D’Agostino, co-founder of Secret Atlas, stated: “Our new 2027 season is built on the belief that ‘small’ means ‘more’: more flexibility, more shore time, and a much smaller environmental footprint. With just 12 guests onboard MV Vikingfjord and MV Freya, our new voyages offer access to remote areas inaccessible to the larger cruise ships. It’s high-impact exploration while enjoying the comfort of our purpose-built expedition vessels.”

Away from distractions

Visiting at the best time of year for wildlife, the Northern Lights, and incredible scenery, Secret Atlas invites just 12 guests per voyage to step off the beaten track and into the remote, uncharted wilderness of the High Arctic.

Moving away from the crowds offered by larger cruise ships, the small-sized expedition is designed for maximum exploration and minimal impact.

On an Expedition Micro Cruise, guests spend more time where it matters most: ashore, on the water, or exploring remote fjords that are inaccessible to larger vessels.

With just 12 passengers on board, it’s the ideal setting for a private family adventure on a charter, for couples wanting to get the most out of the trip, and for solo travellers looking to connect with like-minded explorers.
