InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Proud Real Estate, has launched The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort, a luxury development situated on Kamala Beach. This $70 million project represents the brand’s second foray into residential offerings in Thailand after the success of the InterContinental Residences Hua Hin. The development includes 111 private units within two seven-storey structures, with prices starting from $420,000 (THB 15 million).

Nestled between lush rainforests and the Andaman Sea, the residences are crafted under the theme “The Edge of Heaven,” completing a design trilogy inspired by Tribhumikatha cosmology. Vivek Bhalla, Managing Director for South East Asia and Korea at IHG Hotels & Resorts, remarked that this collaboration further extends InterContinental’s legacy of refined hospitality into a residential space created for everyday living.

The architectural design, led by Habita Architects, reinterprets Phuket’s Sino-European heritage with modern touches, while PIA Interior creates a tranquil atmosphere inspired by Peranakan artistry and Thai storytelling. The project boasts wellness amenities like hydro-massage pools, meditation areas, and access to the resort’s Sati Spa and MICHELIN-rated dining.

The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort illustrates a move towards sustainability and service excellence, fostering a serene luxury experience reflective of local culture.
