Aer Lingus Unveils Direct Flights Between Pittsburgh and Dublin

Aer Lingus has introduced a new non-stop flight service connecting Pittsburgh and Dublin, commencing on May 25, 2026.

Aer Lingus has announced the launch of a new non-stop flight service connecting Pittsburgh and Dublin, set to commence on May 25, 2026. Operating four times a week, this new route will provide travellers with easy access to over 30 European cities, including Paris, Rome, and London, via Dublin’s U.S. preclearance facility. The service aims to strengthen cultural, business, and sporting ties between Pennsylvania and Ireland.

The flights will be operated on an Airbus A321neo LR, featuring lie-flat business class seating and comprehensive in-flight amenities. This development follows Aer Lingus’ ongoing partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the upcoming Pitt Panthers College Football Classic in Dublin. Pittsburgh International Airport CEO Christina Cassotis highlighted the significance of the route, stating, “The Pittsburgh region’s connections to Ireland run deep – both in today’s strong business market and ancestral ties – and this is a route that community leaders have been seeking.”

Aer Lingus Chief Customer Officer Susanne Carberry expressed enthusiasm for the new service, noting that it builds on the airline’s strong partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and enhances its position as a leading transatlantic carrier. The Dublin-Pittsburgh route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with fares starting from $519 roundtrip, inclusive of taxes and fees.

The introduction of this route not only facilitates travel for Pittsburgh’s global businesses but also offers European travellers convenient access to the U.S. through Dublin’s preclearance facility, ensuring a smooth travel experience. Aer Lingus continues to expand its transatlantic network, reinforcing its commitment to providing extensive connectivity and exceptional service.
