Mandai Wildlife Reserve Unveils Curiosity Cove for Kids
Mandai Wildlife Reserve in Singapore has launched its largest indoor playground designed for children, featuring various nature-themed zones.
Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve has unveiled Curiosity Cove, the largest indoor nature-inspired playscape in the nation, tailored for children aged between three and twelve. This expansive area measures 4,600 square meters, allowing young adventurers to engage in imaginative play across four nature-themed sections: Wetlands, Forestlands, Grasslands, and Drylands. Each zone is designed to replicate actual ecosystems, offering a multi-sensory experience that encourages children to emulate wildlife and view the world from animal perspectives.
Over the last decade, Mandai Wildlife Reserve has evolved into a premier wildlife and nature attraction, featuring highlights such as Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild. Curiosity Cove enhances this array of features and fosters deeper connections to nature. A representative from Mandai Wildlife Group stated, “The vibrant features make each play experience fun and stimulating.”
The playscape boasts over 30 multi-sensory touchpoints aimed at fostering children’s cognitive, social, and motor development. Activities include crawling through a ‘snake’s belly’ and climbing an orangutan tree-bed platform. This indoor facility supplements the outdoor wildlife parks, providing year-round fun regardless of weather conditions.
Curiosity Cove officially opened on November 21, 2025, with tickets priced at $48 (US$48) for one child, which includes free entry for an accompanying adult. The Mandai Wildlife Reserve continues to grow, with plans including the second phase of Rainforest Wild and Exploria, a multimedia attraction offering digital expeditions. These projects aim to enhance relationships with nature and cultivate a lasting love for wildlife among younger generations.
