G6 Hospitality Introduces National Safety Initiative
G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6, launches a comprehensive safety programme in partnership with the Texas Hotels and Lodging Association.
G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6, has teamed up with the Texas Hotels and Lodging Association (THLA) to unveil a nationwide safety and security initiative. The programme, which launched in Dallas, offers practical advice on police interactions, legal obligations, and guest disturbance management. It also addresses key topics like firearms regulations, active shooter protocols, and premises liability.
The initiative has attracted over 100 hospitality professionals from 15 states, including Texas, California, and Florida. Given the rise in criminal activities such as human trafficking and identity theft, this program is among the first industry-supported safety training efforts tailored for the economy lodging sector. Its goal is to provide franchise owners, general managers, and hotel staff with updated practices and real-life guidance.
Sonal Sinha, CEO of G6 Hospitality, remarked, “Our franchise partners are central to all our strategic decisions. This seminar series is an investment in their success, safety, and long-term development.” Developed with THLA and legal experts, the curriculum provides actionable insights and best practices.
After a successful pilot workshop, G6 Hospitality and THLA plan to extend this seminar series to major US markets. The programme will offer in-person workshops, operational toolkits, and digital resources to ensure accessibility for franchise teams. This initiative is in line with G6 Hospitality’s mission to adapt to the changing safety environment, ensuring guests feel secure at Motel 6 and Studio 6 locations.
