Revolutionary Travel Management: Corporate Traveller Launches New Trip Proposals Feature

Corporate Traveller's new 'Trip Proposals' tool is set to innovate the corporate travel planning process, simplifying tasks for travel arrangers and enhancing the experience for business travelers.

Flight Centre Travel Group’s specialist SME division of Corporate Traveller has announced the launch of ‘Trip Proposals’ in Melon, a revolutionary feature changing how corporate travel arrangers handle trip options for business travelers.

Trip Proposals in Melon streamlines the planning for travel arrangers like executive assistants and office managers, allowing them to create and share detailed travel plans.

Using this tool, arrangers can select preferred flights and accommodations and generate comprehensive travel plans that are directly emailed to travelers. This personalized package includes visuals and key information, enabling travelers to see options without needing to log in.

After receiving confirmation, arrangers can book directly from the saved proposals easily.

“Every step we take in technology enhances our clients’ experiences in the Northern Hemisphere on the Melon platform – Trip Proposals is a testament to this,” said Tom Walley, Global Managing Director at Corporate Traveller.
“Our aim is to make the ordinary automated so we can refine the extraordinary, and with Trip Proposals, companies can anticipate improvements in productivity and travel planning efficiency.”

The innovative feature cuts down on time spent planning and reduces redundancy with its streamlined booking process from planning to confirmation, presenting a polished, professional interface to travelers and ensuring clarity through a convenient single communication format.

The introduction of Trip Proposals symbolizes a significant stride in corporate travel, enhancing both the arranger’s and traveler’s experiences with greater independence and efficient processes.

“This also marks a pivotal advancement in corporate travel, enhancing autonomy for arrangers while simplifying processes,” Walley remarked. “It highlights our forward-thinking approach to travel management technologies, gradually influencing industry standards for trip coordination.”

Businesses looking to enhance their travel management strategies will find the Trip Proposals feature in Melon to be beneficial, offering interactive solutions that provide a smooth, streamlined experience for both arrangers and travelers.

An Executive Assistant shares their thoughts:

“You can book flights for multiple individuals simply by adding them to the proposal and clicking their names to finalize the booking, streamlining (group arrangements) significantly. If arranging for several travelers, it saves considerable time for each, as it avoids re-entering information. Frequently, when colleagues book for more than a few people, they would contact our agent, but now that is unnecessary. It saves both time and money.”
