Etihad Airways has commenced its inaugural flight to Kazan, establishing a direct link between one of Russia’s fastest-growing cities and Abu Dhabi. The new route operates three times a week and brings these two dynamic destinations within easy reach, with a flight time of just over five hours. According to a report from WAM (Emirates News Agency), Flight EY839 touched down at Kazan International Airport this afternoon, welcomed ceremoniously, marking the beginning of a new travel corridor for both business and leisure travelers.

The service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, ideally scheduled for weekend getaways or extended vacations.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests from Kazan to Abu Dhabi, a city that beautifully blends Emirati heritage with contemporary innovation,” stated Natalia Goryunova, Country Manager for Russia at Etihad Airways.

Moreover, through the Abu Dhabi hub, travelers will have seamless connections to Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Australia, enhancing travel availability to various destinations across Etihad’s global network. Whether experiencing Abu Dhabi’s cultural sites, pristine beaches, and vibrant dining options, or connecting to other locations in our network, this flight broadens travel possibilities for passengers in both directions.
