Tourism Malaysia, along with local port authorities and partners from the tourism sector, welcomed the arrival of the luxury cruise ship MV Piano Land at Port Klang on Saturday, 29th November.

Ferrying over 1,760 passengers from Hong Kong to its Malaysian home port, the MV Piano Land is set to operate 11 sailings in Malaysia until 25th December.

Port Klang will act as the vessel’s home port for its voyages to Penang and Langkawi, providing travelers with a smooth cruising experience.

Tourism Malaysia’s Director General, Manoharan Periasamy, stated: > “The arrival of MV Piano Land reflects the strong collaboration between Tourism Malaysia, our port partners, and the industry. This initiative not only enhances accessibility for cruise travellers but also strengthens Malaysia’s appeal as a premier destination under Visit Malaysia 2026.”

Additionally, the tourism agency recently organized a fam trip starting on December 1st, welcoming 60 international and domestic participants, including media representatives, influencers, and travel agents. This three-day, two-night cruise from Port Klang to Penang provided participants with firsthand experience aboard MV Piano Land, enabling them to explore the state’s key attractions before returning to Port Klang.

The vessel features a Muslim-friendly hospitality concept, with all kitchens and food preparation facilities fully certified halal. Passengers can enjoy a variety of local and international cuisines that meet halal standards, complemented by dedicated prayer rooms and family-friendly programmes, ensuring a comfortable experience for travelers of all ages.
