Resorts World Awana received the ESG Initiative of the Year award for its Genting Nature Adventures (GNA), an initiative geared toward biodiversity and environmental education. This program fosters long-term ecological responsibility through activities focused on conservation, sustainability, and education.

Key Features of GNA:

• Employs a platform for biodiversity learning and environmental stewardship, engaging over 30,000 guests annually.
• Activities, led by scientists, provide educational experiences aimed at increasing awareness and appreciation for natural habitats and species.

Conservation Initiatives:

• The project protects native species and habitats by declaring several areas as Other Effective Conservation Measures (OECM) sites.
• Efforts are underway to develop wildlife corridors and restoration of natural habitats.

With the ambition to not only educate but also actively involve the public, GNA plans to launch various activities, including the Conference of Experts and Collaborators (CoEC) 2025, enhancing engagement with nature conservation practices.
