Partnership Between Red Sea International Airport and Enova

Red Sea International Airport has officially collaborated with Enova to enhance operations and job creation.

Red Sea International Airport (RSI) has entered into a multi-year agreement with Enova, a collaboration between Majid Al Futtaim and Veolia, to act as the General Facilities Management contractor for the airport. This initiative aims to bring about nearly 250 new employment opportunities in the region while simultaneously promoting sustainable operations throughout the airport’s infrastructure.

Under this arrangement, Enova will manage various critical maintenance and support operations, which will include regular energy audits and air quality assessments aimed at improving energy and water efficiency. This collaboration is not only about creating new jobs but also minimizing the environmental impact of the operations, ensuring a premium experience for travelers.

Enova’s partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, promoting growth that emphasizes sustainability, while ensuring that RSI continues to develop as an outstanding travel destination.

Andrew Tyler-Smith, CEO of RSI, remarked: “This partnership represents more than just operational improvements; it enhances the airport’s commitment to sustainability and hospitality. Our collaboration with Enova combines our expertise with their management capabilities to ensure an environmentally considerate environment for our guests.”

Renaud Capris, CEO of Enova, added: “Working with RAW International is a landmark project for sustainable aviation. Our expertise in energy efficiency and facility management will ensure that RSI leads in environmentally-friendly practices within the aviation sector.”

By joining forces, Red Sea International Airport and Enova are setting new standards for sustainability in aviation, enhancing local development and environmental care.
