Jumeirah Partners with NOMAD as Hospitality Sponsor for Abu Dhabi 2025
Jumeirah Saadiyat Island will host a design showcase alongside its role as a partner for the upcoming NOMAD event in Abu Dhabi.
Dubai Holding’s luxury brand Jumeirah has been appointed the official hospitality partner for NOMAD, a collectible design fair that emphasizes intimate connections between contemporary art, architecture, and cultural heritage.
This collaboration highlights Jumeirah’s dedication to fostering the cultural environment in the region as NOMAD is set to debut in Abu Dhabi from November 19 to November 22.
Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, the founder of NOMAD, remarked:
“Our partnership with Jumeirah on Saadiyat Island extends NOMAD’s vision beyond the fair grounds, creating a dialogue between design, place, and the cultural landscape of Abu Dhabi.”
Jumeirah Saadiyat Island, located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District, facilitates a closer connection with significant cultural landmarks in Abu Dhabi. This beachfront retreat is an excellent base for art enthusiasts visiting the capital, with the fair scheduled to take place at the decommissioned Terminal 1 of Zayed International Airport, during the Abu Dhabi Art Fair. This event coincides with the upcoming openings of major cultural institutions, including the Natural History Museum, Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
As a cultural crossroads, Jumeirah also continues to enrich the artistic landscape with initiatives such as the Jumeirah Art Journey and partnerships with esteemed art institutions.
At NOMAD, Jumeirah anticipates hosting various activities, offering exclusive access to previews, private events, and discussions to international collectors and designers, further establishing its role as a cultural hub.
Shifting Terrains, an original design showcase, will also be featured as part of NOMAD’s off-site programming, taking place from November 18 to 22. The exhibition focuses on the evolving creative landscape of the UAE, featuring works from prominent contemporary designers.
This artistic dialogue will challenge and redefine the perceptions of material and place, grounding the narrative of the region’s creative journey.
