Vega Sicilia Honored as World's Best Winery at the 2025 Golden Vines Awards for the Second Year in a Row
Vega Sicilia continues to establish itself as a premier winery, recognized for its exceptional quality at the prestigious Golden Vines Awards.
The Golden Vines Awards are among the most prestigious in the wine industry, and this year they once again recognized Vega Sicilia with the award for “The Golden Vines Robb Report World’s Best Fine Wine Producer Award”, reaffirming its status as one of the world’s top wineries.
Organized by Liquid Icon, the awards took place this past weekend, on November 7 and 8, at the Faena Forum in Miami, gathering esteemed professionals from the global wine sector, featuring exceptional tastings, master classes, and live charitable auctions in collaboration with Sotheby’s. Also participating was TEMPOS Vega Sicilia, supporting the Gerard Basset Foundation, which funds educational and training programs worldwide in the fields of wine, spirits, and hospitality.
During the gala awards ceremony, Jessica Julmy, General Director of TEMPOS Vega Sicilia, expressed gratitude for the recognition: “It is an honor for Vega Sicilia to be recognized as the best winery in the world for the second consecutive year, especially among such formidable peers. This distinction honors the vision and philosophy of the Álvarez Mezquíriz family over the past decades, as well as the hard work of the team at the winery and our clients around the world.”
This award represents one of the highest recognitions achieved by Vega Sicilia in recent years, reaffirming the distinction it received last year. Located in Valbuena de Duero, Valladolid, it is part of TEMPOS Vega Sicilia, which contains six wineries belonging to the Álvarez family.
