Air Astana Reports Q3-2025 Financial Performance

The airline showcases a revenue growth of 10.1% in Q3 2025 despite various challenges.

Air Astana has announced its financial results for the third quarter and nine months of 2025, reflecting strong revenue growth alongside increased capacity.

EBITDAR improved through effective yield management and dynamic capacity allocation. The demand for services remained robust, though some operational challenges arose from Pratt & Whitney’s unanticipated engine issues, currency depreciation, and temporary airport closures.

Key figures include:

  • Total revenue and other income rose by 10.1% to US$1,096.8 million.
  • The number of passengers carried rose by 10.5% to 7.5 million, maintaining a load factor of 83%.

Airline CEO Peter Foster stated: “We have performed with resilience in the first nine months of the year, achieving a revenue increase of 10.1% and improving EBITDAR by 3.5%. Despite facing external challenges during our peak season, we are seasoned operators adept at handling such headwinds.”
