AirAsia X has recently facilitated the successful departure of its chartered flight from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport. This mission served to transport 150 Malaysian Armed Forces personnel from the first group of MALBATT 850-13.

Operated under a special agreement between the Government of Malaysia and AirAsia Berhad, this initiative highlights the airline’s operational capability and dedication to supporting Malaysia’s contributions beyond commercial flights.

A Legacy of Support AirAsia X celebrates its 13th year supporting MALBATT missions, taking pride in its role in the safe deployment of Malaysian troops to Lebanon. Throughout this year’s mission, the airline is set to carry a total of 532 passengers across multiple flights scheduled for November, reinforcing its commitment to the Malaysian Armed Forces and international peacekeeping under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
